Natalie Sookhoo

Professor Natalie Sookhoo is a tri-qualified legal professional—licensed as a New York Attorney, a Barrister, and a Solicitor-Advocate of England and Wales. She currently serves as a Magistrate in the Courts of England and Wales and as a Legal Fellow for the Creative Law: AI and Ethics initiative at Harvard University. A graduate of Harvard University, she earned her Master’s degree in Legal Studies with a concentration in global legal innovation. Prior to her academic and judicial work, she practiced as a lawyer at a Magic Circle firm, where she advised multinational clients on cross-border legal and regulatory matters.

Professor Sookhoo is a respected legal scholar whose current research focuses on the global regulation of artificial intelligence and the evolving landscape of U.S. and U.K. whistleblowing law. She is a regular speaker and panellist at international legal and technology forums, and is part of the founding team of the Creative Law initiative. Though based in London, she lectures frequently at Harvard and collaborates with faculty across disciplines. Her upcoming article on AI law and transatlantic legal harmonization is set to be published by Stanford University.
